LeaderMom Presents: Self-Care 5.0
A program for anyone who wants to succeed at work & home with more joy
September 5 • 7:00-8:30 PM
Hartford CT • Hartford Happiness Club
At LeaderMom, we reject the belief that success requires perfection, perennial depletion, constant anxiety and rat-race exhaustion. LeaderMoms are people who kill it at work and find daily, authentic ways to be present, loving, happy, and engaged at home too. Our research, and a growing body of positive psychology work, shows that success and being happier can go to together. The question then becomes how, not if.
Really valuing and taking care of ourselves is key part of the equation.
At this event, we will talk about how LeaderMoms add great value at work, and how practicing self-care, self-compassion and reciprocally supportive relationships enable that. We will give you ways to avoid martyrdom, perfectionism, and “Wonder Woman” delusions — and to recognize them as the career killers and joy suckers that they are. This program will help you to cultivate a self-valuing mindset and daily practices of radical self-care. And, choice by choice, each of us can deliver on what matters most at work and home with more joy and less stress.
